Problem: Employee overwhelm, lack of clarity, and lowered team morale
A marketing agency came to me because while their marketing team was thriving, the design team was facing consistent internal challenges. The hunger and drive to grow was there, but we discovered they had the right people in the wrong roles, a lack of clear processes and systems, and little consistency in client workload reporting. The team was feeling unclear which affected confidence (but never quality).
For 6 months we worked together to develop and implement new systems and processes, clarify reporting and tracking, and implement new strategies to streamline workflow and productivity. We also identified core strengths and goals of each member and adjusted their role and responsibilities to empower and support their strengths.
Problem: Employee Retention/Inability to attract new team members
A retail store with two locations and 15+ employees came to me to help uncover why they were unable to find and keep staff. The business has been in operation for 20+ years and are financially growing, but there’s an “invisible stuck” when it comes to morale and employee growth. There were a lack of processes and employees were feeling under trained and overwhelmed.
I developed a detailed plan for their team to implement including creating an onboarding process, documenting processes for consistency, employee engagement programs, and new ways to market positions. We also uncovered some core leadership challenges and outlined clear steps to better support the team.
Problem: Lack of consistency in branding, marketing, and positioning
A secondary school for high schoolers and continuing education for adults came to me because their branding and marketing efforts were inconsistent and did not match the quality of the programs they offer. Materials were outdated, there weren’t any consistent brand guideline to follow, and most materials had to be created from scratch every time which took a lot of time, money, and effort.
We started by evaluating the current materials, what was working, and what wasn’t. We then identified the essential items and developed a unified brand message, tone, and identity. By creating brand guidelines, all materials are consistent, cohesive, and attract new students and community supporters. This has saved time, money, and resources and increased reputation and opportunities.
